There isn't so much to Xai xai than a sprawling settlement of houses, markets and shops. The main attraction there are the beaches located around 10 km to the east. The landcapes near the bay decorated with a coral reef stretching about 1km off the shore are overwhelming... It's absolutely worth seeing. The water is great for swimming and snorkeling. And it's free!
