Some years ago, the journey from Beira to Quelimane used to be an ordeal. These days it's just a smooth ride because of the nice new sealed road from Inchope to Caia, continuing to Quelimane. So, firstly you should take a minibus to Inchope or Dondo Balanca, just outside Dondo, and secondly get one marked Rio Lambeze or Quelimane. The trip will take about 12 hours and costs $15.
